Starting School

Hello to all our new parents! 

Below are some dates for your diary:

Induction session for parents with our Headteacher, Mrs Bryson, our Reception class teacher, Mrs
Wright and our SENCO Miss Panting on: Tuesday 28th April at 6pm.

The session should last approximately 1 hour.

School visits for your child:

Friday 5th June 9:15am – 11:30am 

Tuesday 16th June 9:15am – 12:45pm (this will include lunch - school dinner or bring a packed lunch)

Wednesday 24th June 1:30pm – 2:15pm (teddy bears picnic with Year 5 buddies)

Wednesday 24th June 2:15pm – 2:45pm Parent stay and play (come and have fun in the classroom with your child)

What helps to make my child 'school ready?' 

Children are all individual and will develop at different times and find different things easy and tricky.  Over the next few months we will work with you and nurseries / pre-schools to find out how we can best support your child. If you have any worries, please make contact.
