Welcome to Alresford Primary School. The school was founded in the mid 19th century and has been in its present building since 1964. It is set in attractive grounds on the edge of the village and has a sizeable playing field and two wet weather playgrounds. We have approximately 125 children in 5 classes, most of which have mixed-age year groups and Alresford Pre-School is located on our site.
In recent years the building has been upgraded with the addition of an outside area for the Reception class, newly resurfaced playgrounds, school library and ICT suite.
We operate our own school kitchen which cooks healthy and enjoyable meals from fresh ingredients and maintain our own swimming pool, which was originally provided by the PTA.
