Welcome to Alresford Primary School. The school was founded in the mid 19th century and has been in its present building since 1964. It is set in attractive grounds on the edge of the village and has a sizeable playing field and two wet weather playgrounds. We have approximately 110 children in 4 mixed-age classes. Alresford Pre-School is also located on our site.
In recent years the building has been upgraded with the addition of newly resurfaced playgrounds, school library and ICT suite.
We operate our own school kitchen which cooks healthy and enjoyable meals from fresh ingredients and maintain our own swimming pool, which was originally provided by the PTA and has recently been covered to provide us with indoor swimming for most of the year.
